Insurance

Is it Vision or Medical?

OK. Here is where it gets a little confusing. Vision insurance covers regular, routine eye exams and, depending on your coverage, glasses and contact lenses. Vision insurance like VSP does not cover things like exams and treatment for red eyes, glaucoma, cataract or other eye diseases. These are medical eye conditions that are covered by medical insurance.

We are providers for most vision and medical insurance plans to try and make things a little easier for you. Click on the links to check your coverage with the insurance company directly. If there is no link, you’re best bet is to call the number of the insurance plan to check your coverage. Their number is usually on your insurance card. Or, call our office at 408-293-2020 and we will help you determine your coverage.
